The Organisation of African Trade Union Unity (OATUU) has attended the first physical PANAF Committee Meeting in Brussels, Belgium, since the easing of Covid-19 restrictions around the world. The meeting was organised to review the activities of PANAF and discuss the future of the programme. Following a series of deliberations, the Committee agreed that the PANAF programme be a stand-alone project with its own secretariat located in Africa to ensure increased effectiveness in carrying out its mandate.

The committee also concluded that resources and materials used for the training programme which were primarily in English, needed to be expanded in order to cater for Francophone trainees.
