The Organisation of African Trade Union Unity (OATUU) has expressed its condolences over the killing of at least 100 civilians in Burkina Faso, following a terrorist attack in the region. Last week Friday, a group of terrorists attacked the village of Solhan in the northern part of Burkina Faso and set fire to houses and a market in the area. The incident has left many devastated and prompted three days of national mourning from the 5^th to the 7^th of June, 2021. In a statement released by OATUU on the 8^th of June, 2021, the organisation condemned the attack and expressed its solidarity with the workers and people of Burkina Faso, especially family members of the victims.
