The Cuban Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency Mrs. Anette Chao Garcia, paid a courtesy visit to the OATUU Secretariat on 15th February, 2024.

In a diplomatic exchange aimed at fostering stronger ties between Cuba and OATUU, the Secretary-General expressed gratitude for Madam Chao Garcia’s visit, emphasising the significance of collaboration between nations. The meeting served as a platform to discuss potential areas of cooperation, with a focus on mutual interests in trade, labor, and socio-economic development.

Both parties acknowledged the historical solidarity between African nations and Cuba, recognising the importance of continued dialogue to strengthen diplomatic and economic relations. The visit highlighted the shared values and common goals between Cuba and OATUU, paving the way for future collaboration and diplomatic initiatives.

Her Excellency, Madam Garcia, seized the occasion to extend an invitation to OATUU to participate in the May Day Celebration that will beorganised by the Workers’ Central Union of Cuba in a few months.
