The Organisation of African Trade Union Unity (OATUU) has attended a Worker’s Group Webinar in preparation for the 109th Session of the International Labour Conference (ILC) which opens on the 20th of May, 2021. The virtual meeting which took place on the 19th of May was chaired by the Director of ACTRAV-ILO, Maria Helena Andre who went over the agenda and timetable of the upcoming conference and addressed concerns that members of the various workers group had, ahead of this year’s virtual ILC. The meeting also provided the opportunity for a number of people to be nominated as officers of the worker’s group including Catalene Passchier as Chairperson of the Worker’s Group and Raquel Jose as Secretary.
