As part of the Sino-African Trade Union cooperation activities, 15 trade union leaders participated in the seminar on the Sino-African Destiny Community for the shared future and the role of trade unions held from 15 to 20 May 2018 in Beijing, China. This seminar is followed by a field visit to Shanxi province.

African Trade union leaders visited several historical, cultural, social and economic sites in the province. This visit strengthens the bonds of friendship and cooperation between OATUU and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. It aims to exchange experiences between the two organizations and strengthen the ties of solidarity.
