As the world celebrates International Workers’ Day, the Organisation of African Trade Union Unity (OATUU) is urging workers and organisations to pursue a human-centered recovery to combat the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has stalled development across the globe.
In response to the challenges the virus has introduced, the organisation has also reiterated the importance of full vaccination in ensuring a return to life before Covid-19 and is encouraging continued education by trade union organisations on the advantages of vaccination.
