Workers in Kaduna have ended a five-day protest against the state government’s plan to lay off workers, after the Nigeria labour Congress (NLC) reached an agreement with the government. The protests were supported by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), with the president of the congress, Ayuba P. Wabba actively involved. The protests were embroiled in chaos but the government and NLC have managed to reach an agreement.
