The Organisation of African Trade Union Unity (OATUU) Secretariat warmly welcomed a delegation from the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) on August 23rd, 2024,. The delegation was led by Mr. Li Qingtang, Director General of the Business Management Department of ACFTU, accompanied by Mr. Fu Yu, Director of the General Office, Business Management Department, and Ms. Chen Yurong.

The visit provided an opportunity for both organisations to discuss potential areas of collaboration and to strengthen the ties between African and Chinese trade unions. Discussions centered around enhancing mutual understanding and exploring joint initiatives to support the rights and welfare of workers in both regions.
