The leadership and staff of the Organisation of African Trade Union Unity have received the first dose of the vaccine against Covid-19, today. This comes as Ghana’s vaccination drive moves into its second month.

According to the Secretary-General, Mr. Arezki Mezhoud, vaccination is the best way to fight the coronavirus pandemic and he urges everyone, especially workers to get vaccinated in order to overcome this pandemic that has overwhelmed the world. He is also calling for an equitable distribution of vaccines in the world and in Africa, which will further promote its accessibility for all workers and ensure a total eradication of Covid-19.
