The Organisation of African Trade Union Unity(OATUU) has issued a statement in which it rejects the violence that is resurfacing in Libya as it may worsen the already fragile situation in that country.

This situation, without any doubt will affect the economic and social conditions of workers and their families.

OATUU urges the country to cease these clashes and calls for a peaceful dialogue that will allow Libya to regain its once green position.
