OATUU pays tribute to the Late KOFI ANNAN, Former UN Secretary General

The Organization of African Trade Union Unity (OATUU) pays tribute to the former United Nations Secretary General the Late Kofi Annan who passed away on 18 August 2018 in Bern, Switzerland.

He served as the seventh Secretary-General of the United Nations, from January 1997 to December 2006.  Co-recipients of the 2001 Nobel Peace Prize with the UN,  Kofi Annan was the founder and chairman of the Kofi Annan Foundation.

On behalf of all the workers and workers Organizations in Africa, OATUU sends the condolences to the family, friends and Colleagues of the late Kofi Annan. May the family, espacially the Wife and the Children  have the courage to bear with the loss and  mourn in peace.
