The Organization of African Trade Union Unity (OATUU) pays tribute to his former Deputy Secretary General Comrade Ali who passed away on 2 May 2018 in Geneva, Switzerland, as a result of illness.
Comrade Ali Ibrahim became the Director of Political affairs of Organization of African Trade Union Unity (OATUU) in 1975. Then was was elected to become the deputy General Secretary of OATUU in 1976 where he held until 1990.
On behalf of all the workers and workers Organizations OATUU sends the condolences to the family, friends and Colleagues of the late Comrade Ali Ibrahim. May they have the courage to bear with the loss and mourn in peace.
We will always remember his big contribution towards the fight for African workers rights.
