A delegation from HAK-IS,  the second biggest trade union confederation in Turkey, led by its President Mr. Mahmut Arslan and its Secretary General  Mr. Osman YILDIZ visited OATUU Headquarters in Accra- Ghana on Monday 16th July 2018 , following the  cooperation agreement signed by OATUU and HAK-IS May this year in Akara-Turkey.

Mr. Anthony Yaw Baah, vice-President of OATUU was present. He expressed it pleasure for having “Our Friends from Turkey in Ghana” which “really shows the interest HAK-IS is giving to our cooperation and the African Labor Movement” added the OATUU Secretary General, Mr. Arezki MEZHOUD.

This visit was mainly designed to strengthen this cooperation and to assist the African Labor Movement through the continental organisation, OATUU. Talking about the visit, Mr. Mahmut Arslan said : “The world has something to take from HAK-IS, that is why I do much attach to this visit”.

The meeting ended by a presentation of Gifts from both organisations followed by a sightseeing of the OATUU Headquarters.
