The Federation of African Workers in France and Europe has taken part in the protest for the improvement of workers’ purchasing power. The protest took place on the 5th of October, 2021 at Paris.
The protest was also hinged on the theme of preserving workers’ assets in light of the fight for improvement in working, living and travelling conditions.
The organisation, which is a specialised agency of the Organisation of African Trade Union Unity (OATUU) has been vocal in their condemnation of the stigmatisation suffered by immigrants in general and African immigrants in particular. It has also expressed its belief in the ideologies of freedom, equality, fraternity.
