The Secretary-General of OATUU, Mr. Arezki Mezhoud has participated in the Tripartite Negotiating Forum’s Retreat on Social Dialogue in Zimbabwe. The event was held from 15th to 19th January under the theme, ‘Social dialogue for Nation Building’.

Mr. Mezhoud commended Zimbabwe’s commitment to structured social dialogue as a catalyst for economic and social development. The social dialogue framework is seen by OATUU as a crucial means to promote stability, strengthen collaboration and foster wealth redistribution in Zimbabwe. By facilitating transparent conversations among key stakeholders, this initiative will not only improve working conditions, but will enhance the quality of life for workers and contribute to lasting development across all sectors.
